  1. Imagine a baby as an apple: fresh but bland,
    Both being picked for something special
    and as they go through life they pick up pieces of their personalities
    they start to take shape and show what they truly are
    Then when they have their full personality they show the best of themselves
    Once they have served their purpose their lives end but they are still loved.

  2. Caramel Apples

    Soft but hard
    chewy but tender.
    Short yet tall
    thick yet slender.

    Polka dot mints cover the shell,
    made of warm, rich, caramel.
    Apples on sticks, such an odd notion
    fun for all ages, causing candy commotion.

  3. As Adam and Eve were tempted, so am I, to sink my teeth into the apple
    Perfectly coated in glistening sticky sticky caramel.
    Perhaps it will stay on my face and in my teeth forever?
    Little by little the sweet sphere is nothing but a core. It disappears no matter how
    Earnest.

  4. He shall forever linger
    Living within isolation
    Observing the world pass him by
    In a mere blink of unfocused eyes
    Those he had previously known
    Lay six feet beneath the cold earth
    Perished
    Decaying flesh melting off bone
    While he, is wholly preserved
    Thief of the gold engraved apple of eternity
    Forbidden fruit consumed in greed
    Enduring continuity of youth
    Sticking to his soul like melted sugar
    Sickly sweet, saccharine
    Despair, exclusively his friend
    Never to know the ever lasting rest
    He is forevermore, alone

  5. The apple was the forbidden fruit that Eve ate,
    Tricked and tempted by the devil in disguise
    Caramel covers the apple, toppings are added.
    DIsguising what is actually underneath it all
    The devil tricked Eve, while in disguise.
    It is a famous saying on Halloween night
    “trick or treat”
    Children run around in costumes,
    believing they tricked adults into giving them candy.
    The apple was the forbidden fruit. Eve was tricked by devil in disguise.
    On Halloween night children dress up in disguises, and trick people for candy.
    Caramel is a disguise for the forbidden fruit underneath.
    Yet again the devil tricks us all, lurking between the shadows on Halloween night,
    Tricking children into doing what he did himself years ago.
    But we continue on, completely oblivious to the temptations
    As if we were Eve in the Garden of Eden, yet again.

  6. O sphere of caramel goodness;
    take me back to a special place.
    Whose sweet ornaments of my memory encapsule me;
    please take me back to a special place.

    When skies are gray and leaves fray;
    I go back to play.
    Perplexed by time and tragedy;
    there is only one remedy.

    Picked from youthful season;
    accepted into weary arms.
    Dipped for a reason;
    to take back what has gone.

    O sphere of caramel goodness;
    I must go back to my special place.
    Whose sweet ornaments of my memory encapsule me;
    I need a caramel apple to save me.
